SPN Ogilvy held Sun Tech Days 2010 in St Petersburg

On 8-9 April SPN Ogilvy organized Sun Tech Days 2010, a worldwide developers conference by Sun Microsystems, in St Petersburg.

Sun Microsystems has been conducting Sun Tech Days for more than 10 years all over the world. The 2010 conference has become the fifth one to be held in Russia. SPN Ogilvy has hosted 3 of the 5 conferences.

Sun Tech Days was attended by more than 4000 participants: software developers, students, university professors and technical specialists. Another 2000 people watched the conference online.

The program of the 2010 conference included over 40 reports, workshops for professionals, demonstrations and discussions at exhibition booths of Sun Microsystems software developers and sponsors of the event. Among Sun Tech Days speakers there were renowned software creators, leaders of key Sum Microsystems development spheres. Presentations of Russian developers who were not Sun Microsystems employees became a new feature of Sun Tech Days in 2010.

The conference was held with information support of the St Petersburg City Committee for Economic Development, Industry Policy and Trade.
