Two projects of SPN Ogilvy have been short-listed for IPRA Golden World Award, an international award for excellence in public relations, in three categories:
• “More Donors – More Life: Building the Social Institution of Blood Donation in Russia” (Client: the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia, the Federal Medical Biological Agency) in the Public Sector and the Healthcare categories;
• “Thinking of You: Announcing the new brand platform of Kyivstar, a Ukrainian telecom provider” in the Corporate Communications category.
This achievement for SPN Ogilvy is a pleasant sequel of the last week’s events: on the 26th of May the winners of European SABRE Awards were announced in London. The blood donation campaign has become a nominee in the category “Public Sector”, and the Kievstar entry won SABRE Awards in the category “Employee Communications”.

IPRA GWA 2010 winners will be defined on the 25th of June in Instanbul by an international panel of judges. The awards ceremony will be traditionally held in London in autumn 2010.

Entries submitted by SPN Ogilvy and winners of  PROBA-IPRA GWA (a nationwide PR contest co-organized by SPN Ogilvy) have become nominees and winners of  IPRA Golden World Awards many times. Among the winning entries there were The Baltic PR Weekend (an international PR conference also co-organized by the agency, 2002), “Awaiting the Golden Age – Launch of Slavinsky Art Gallery” (2009) and a joint project of SPN Ogilvy and the Russian Public Relations Association “Building the reputation of Public Relations in Russia” (2004).

IPRA Golden World Awards are annually given by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) for excellence in public relations. The contest is entered by companies and consultancies from all over the world.
