SPN Ogilvy organized a series of events dedicated to the opening of SANOFI-AVENTIS VOSTOK plant in Orel within SPIEF 2010

On 19 June SPN Ogilvy organized events dedicated to the opening of sanofi-aventis Vostok, a new insulin production based in Orel. The activities took place within the format of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The opening ceremony was held at the venue of SPIEF, LenExpo exhibition center. Because of the pressing schedule of the forum the pavilion was fully decorated and equipped for the event for a record time – withing one hour!

The ceremony was attended by 55 guests, including representatives of ministries, administrative bodies of St. Petersburg and the Orlov region, as well as international and Russian top executives of sanofi-aventis. The event was tied to the Year of France in Russia and the Year of Russia in France, so the ceremony was also attended by representatives of the French embassy in Russia and the Russian ambassador to France.

In the evening a gala dinner hosted by sanofi-aventis was organized in the Yusupov palace. State and business authorities, representatives of medical associations and institutions were invited to attend. The evening program included a tour around the palace and performances of the Yusupov palace orchestra and Terem Quartet, a legendary St. Petersburg band.
