SPN Ogilvy organized the partner and media event “Back to School” for AMD

On July, 6 SPN Ogilvy organized the official “Back to School” event for AMD at the Vazari Villa gallery (Moscow). “Back to School” is a regular AMD event for partners and media aimed at demonstrating key solutions that are based on AMD VISION Technology. Traditionally, it is organized in several countries before the school year begins, while consumer’s demand on computer production achieved its peak.

The Russian event was aimed to expand the local media pool to more consumer targeted journalists and explain what VISION Technology is in theory and practice by conducting workshops and demonstration of different DT and NT solutions.

The event was opened by presentations of AMD top managers, market experts and representatives of retailers. The second, interactive, part featured four workshops demonstrating VISION Technology possibilities for various experience levels. E.g., one of the workshops showed how easy and quickly it was possible to edit a video using video material that had been casted during the welcome part of the event.

After the interactive part journalists had an opportunity to feel in touch with more than 30 new NT and DT solutions of foreign and local companies that were presented at the event (including ACER, ASUS, Dell, HP, Sony, Toshiba and others).

The event was wrapped up by a cocktail.

The event was attended by 31 journalists and editors from 28 Russian leading Consumer and IT monthlies and 25 representatives of 17 AMD partner companies.
